The capital of Sweden extends on 14 islands. The city and the Archipelago can easily be explored by foot, boat or the Tunnelbana. Some subway stations in Stockholm are like an art installation. Gamla Stan, the old town and Södermalm are a paradise for street photography.
The view from Monteliusvägen is absolutely fantastic. Be sure to explore the narrow roads! A lot of restaurants and cafés will await you. Take your time and enjoy the swedish food. Schwedes love fika – the ritual of drinking coffee and eating a pastry. You should try their famous meatballs and lingonberries.
Do you like Akvavit or Vodka? After some glasses you possibly can even sing Helan Går – a popular Swedish drinking song:
Helan går
Sjung hopp faderallan lallan lej
Helan går
Sjung hopp faderallan lej
Och den som inte helan tar*
Han heller inte halvan får
Helan går
(Drink)
Sjung hopp faderallan lej
The Swedes love of nature is omnipresent. Take a boat to discover the archipelago with all its islands. Look for elks, small lakes and colorful cottages. Dive into the water and take a sauna!

I will definitely come back to Sweden. Next time I will stay longer.
Perhaps for Midsummer?
